What is a watermark?

Where can I find the watermark options?

Watermark options are found in your Dashboard in Settings > Watermark.

What are the watermark options available?

In addition to the site name watermark on videos, there is the option to show member names and emails as watermarks.

Are watermarks automatically applied to all video uploads?

If you have watermarks turned ON, they will be automatically added to videos being uploaded. Watermarks are turned ON by default.

Are watermarks available for photosets?

No, at this time, watermarks are not available for photos being uploaded. Here are tips for how you can watermark your photos before uploading.

What if my content has different watermarks from my current brand?

You will be asked to provide proof of ownership for the watermarks showing in your content. Please see this article for more information about these requirements.

Are there legal implications for using watermarks incorrectly?

Yes, incorrectly using watermarks, especially those of other brands without permission, could lead to legal challenges regarding copyright and trademark infringement.

Can watermarks be removed or altered after uploading?

Your site name watermarks are embedded into the content and cannot be altered. If you wish to change your watermark after the initial upload, please contact support.
We do have plans to introduce a new "re-mark" feature in the future.

How do I create my own custom watermarks?

Is it possible to batch process watermarks on multiple files?

Yes, many watermarking apps and software support batch processing, allowing you to apply watermarks to multiple files simultaneously for efficiency. If you are using the automatic watermarks in your Dashboard, your content will be automatically watermarked.
