Our Downloadable files feature allows you to sell PDF, ZIP, audio, and image files in your store. You could use this to sell things like eBooks, audio books, or artwork collections. Downloadable files are digital store items — if you want to sell physical merchandise, use the standard (non-downloadable) store item flow instead.
Creating a downloadable file
When creating a new item in your store, select This is a downloadable digital item:
Upload the file in the Downloadable file upload card:
File size maximums
You are limited to files 20GB or less.
For files over 5GB, you will be billed 0.05 USD per GB per month, for each GB over 5GB.
Who can buy these files?
Anyone can purchase your downloadable files at checkout — a paid membership is not required. Guests only need a free Guest account to complete the purchase.
Selling videos?
Downloadable files are for documents, audio, images, and similar digital goods. If you want members to be able to download your videos, set that up from your Videos content area rather than as a Store item — that is the path designed for video downloads.
