Here are the steps required for content creators to get a site up and running. The total process from start to finish can be done in as little as one hour. 1. Create your account

2. Add content

The first step is to upload at least 5 pieces of content. Content can be any one or combination of short stories, videos or photosets. If you do NOT yet have content, this can be done later in the site set up process, but must be done before submitting your site for approval.

3. Add legal info

To be legally compliant, we must gather proof of age. This is done on the Legal info page.

4. Pick a domain name (site link)

Decide whether you want the default domain provided for no additional cost (e.g. mymember.site/yoursitename) or a custom domain name for a 100 USD deposit* (e.g. yoursitename.com). If you are unsure about this, you can launch with the default for now and switch to a custom domain later*. Enter your choice on the Domain name page.

*We charge a 100 USD deposit for the use of the custom domain service. This fee will be returned to you 365 days later, IF at that time, your site's gross revenue is greater that 1,000 USD for the previous 30 days and your site is still using the same custom domain. More info about custom domain fee.

5. Set your payout preferences

Let us know how you want to be paid. This is done on the Payout preferences page.


Additional HIGHLY recommended steps

Although not required, we HIGHLY recommend you also do these additional steps before launching your site to help optimize your site for success. The overall look & feel and set up of your site has an impact on how your brand is perceived and how members can be engaged.

6. Update your site design

There are two key elements for your site design:

  1. Site header

  2. 'About Me/Us' section

7. Add/modify memberships (subscriptions)
