Private Calls

Start a private one-to-one video or voice call with a member, free or paid per minute.

Private Calls let you start a private, one-to-one video or voice call with a member, right from your Dashboard. Make the call free, or charge per minute from the member's wallet.

How to start a Private Call

  1. Go to Members on your Dashboard and find a member who is online.

  2. Open the member's options menu and click Start private call. You'll also find it on the member's profile, in the Online members popup and in the top spenders table, or click the private call icon at the top of a one-to-one chat.

  3. In the Private call popup, choose:

    • Minimum duration: every call has one;

    • Ending: Open ending, or Set ending with a maximum length;

    • Price: Free or Per minute price;

    • Call type: Video call or Voice call, and whether the member's camera and microphone are allowed.

  4. Click Go to studio, then Start. Your member gets the call.

  5. When you're done, click End call.

What your member sees

Your member gets a push notification and an incoming-call card on your site showing the price and length of the call. They tap Join to start the call or Decline to refuse it. During the call they can see the timer and, on paid calls, what they've spent and their wallet balance.

Pricing & billing

  • Free or paid: choose Free, or set a Per minute price.

  • Wallet only: paid calls are paid from the member's wallet.

  • Minimum first: when the member joins, they pay for the minimum duration.

  • Then per minute: each extra minute is charged as it starts. If the wallet runs low, the member is asked to top up to keep the call going.

Good to know

  • One-to-one: a Private Call is just you and one member.

  • Not recorded: Private Calls are never recorded.

  • Tips work: members can send tips during the call, including Lovense toy integration tips.

  • Find your earnings: go to Transactions, open the Item filter and choose Private calls.

  • Camera and mic: allow camera and microphone access in your browser and device settings, and close other apps or tabs that are using your camera.

  • Hearing the ring: browsers only play sounds after you've tapped the page, so ask members to tap anywhere on your site after opening it. On iPhone, the Ring/Silent switch should be on Ring.
