Chat notes let you leave internal context on a private chat thread for yourself and your teammates. Notes appear in yellow and are never visible to members.

Use them for reminders, handoffs, troubleshooting details, or anything your team needs to remember while working on a conversation.

1. Open the private chat
Open the private chat thread you want to annotate.

2. Switch to Note
Select the Note option in the composer.

3. Write and send
Enter your internal note, then send it. Your note appears in yellow and is visible only to creators and teammates with access to that private chat.

1. Open conversation filters
Open the conversation filters above the chat list.

2. Choose Type
Select Type, then choose Notes to show internal notes or Messages to show conversation messages.

3. Clear or switch
Clear the filter or pick the other type when you want to switch views.
