What are auto posts?
These are optional marketing posts that are sent out automatically through your X or BlueSky accounts when new content is published or an event happens on your site, such as a new content upload, new member join, a content unlock, a tip, a scheduled livestream, and more.
How do I connect my accounts?
Connect your X and/or Bluesky account on your Dashboard's Settings page:
Follow the instructions to connect your account.
How do I auto post?
After connecting your account, you'll be directed to the Outgoing notifications & Auto posts page where you can turn on / off each type of auto post, and customize the text.
Pro tip: writing your own text in your brand voice makes the posts more unique and engaging for fans. It's always better to sound like YOU and not a robot.
X (Twitter) auto-post pricing
In April 2026, X (formerly Twitter) changed its developer API to a pay-per-use model. Automated posts that include a link to your site or content cost far more than before — X raised the price from about $0.01 to $0.20 USD per post (roughly a 20× increase).
What this means for you: When you use X auto-posts through mymember.site, each successful automated post that includes a URL is billed at $0.20 USD — X's current API rate. We pass this cost through at cost; we do not make a profit on these charges. Bluesky auto-posts are not affected. This took effect June 23, 2026.
X account showing as disconnected? As part of the June 2026 pricing rollout, X accounts were disconnected so you could review and confirm the new fee. To resume X auto-posts: Dashboard > Settings > Integrations > X (Auto post) > reconnect > confirm the pricing modal. Your previous per-event toggle settings are preserved — no need to re-enable toggles under Outgoing notifications & Auto posts.
Your options:
Turn off X auto-posts for event types you don't need — Dashboard > Settings > Outgoing notifications & Auto posts
Use Repost selectively — Repost with Post on X that includes a link is also $0.20 per successful send
Use Bluesky auto-posts at no per-post X API fee (standard platform terms apply)
When you're charged: Only when an X auto-post with a link is successfully sent. View charges in your dashboard under Auto adjustments (more payment features coming soon).
NOTE: If you turn on auto posts for New joins and Tips, you need to upload a custom image for each one so the social media post is not empty.
