Content Policy — What’s Allowed on mylist.site

Updated over 2 weeks ago

mylist.site processes all payments through Stripe. This means all content on the platform must comply with Stripe’s Acceptable Use Policy including NSFW content. mylist.site is a general-audience platform — not an adult platform — and this applies to every item, link, word, image and piece of content on your profile.

✅ What is Allowed

You can add any physical or digital product from an online retailer, as long as they are not prohibited, illegal or "sexually oriented", such as:

  • Clothing, shoes, and accessories

  • Electronics, gadgets, and tech accessories

  • Home goods, furniture, and décor

  • Beauty, skincare, and haircare products

  • Fitness equipment and wellness products

  • Books, games, music, and entertainment

  • Gift cards from mainstream retailers

  • Arts, crafts, and hobby supplies

  • Food, beverages, and specialty items

  • Pet supplies and accessories

You can link to any general-audience platform or website that's not NSFW, such as:

  • Social media profiles (Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, Snapchat)

  • SFW content platforms (YouTube, Twitch, Patreon, Discord)

  • Your personal website or blog (as long as it doesn't have NSFW content)

  • Online stores and merch shops (as long as they don't sell NSFW items)

  • Streaming platforms

  • Any website suitable for a general audience of all ages

Services

Commission-based or creative services are permitted as long as the user receives something in return, which includes tips, such as:

  • Fanart commissions

  • Custom illustrations or graphic design

  • Coaching, consulting, or tutoring sessions

❌ What’s Not Allowed

The following are prohibited on mylist.site without exception. Your Stripe account will also be rejected by their compliance department.

Adult and Sexual Content

  • Sexually explicit or suggestive words, titles, descriptions, or images. Every word, link and image must be SFW.

  • Adult merchandise (sex toys, explicit media, adult-themed novelties, or sexually explicit clothing and accessories such as bondage and kink gear, latex bodysuits, chokers/collars, chastity belts).

  • Escort, companionship, or adult entertainment services of any kind.

  • Any content implying nudity, sexual acts, or adult-only scenarios.

Illegal or Harmful Products

  • Illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia

  • Firearms, ammunition, or unlicensed weapons

  • Counterfeit goods or stolen property

  • Items that infringe on trademarks or intellectual property

Other Prohibited Content

  • Tips without giving something in return such as a SFW image or video

  • Hate speech, harassment, or content targeting individuals or groups

  • Gambling services (unless you hold the appropriate license in your jurisdiction)

  • Multi-level marketing or pyramid scheme products

  • Tobacco, e-cigarettes, or vaping products

  • Prescription medications or regulated health products

📌 A Note for Adult Content Creators

mylist.site welcomes creators from all platforms — including those who produce adult content elsewhere. However, your mylist.site profile must be fully general-audience for all ages and SFW, regardless of what you create on other sites.

You are welcome to include links to your other SFW channels/accounts on your link list, as long as the link itself is clearly labelled and the link title and description do not contain sexually explicit language or NSFW words.

💡 Why These Rules Exist

Stripe’s Acceptable Use Policy prohibits certain types of businesses and content. Violations can result in Stripe suspending payment processing for your account — or the platform as a whole. These rules are in place to protect you, your earnings, and everyone on mylist.site.

⚠️ What Happens if You Violate This Policy

If prohibited content is found on your mylist.site profile:

  1. You will be notified and asked to remove or update the content.

  2. Repeat or serious violations may result in your account being suspended.

  3. In severe cases, Stripe may restrict or terminate payment access.
