What are complimentary memberships?
These are memberships that you have given out to people, usually for promotional purposes. Every site starts with 10 complimentary memberships.
Can I get more complimentary memberships if I use all 10?

How do I create and give away complimentary memberships?
On the Members page, open the I want to... menu and choose Offer complimentary membership
This opens a popup window where you enter the member details and choose which membership you want to give them access to and the length of billing period (if you have more than one billing period setup for the membership), and duration (how long you want to give them complimentary access for).
Which members can receive a complimentary membership?
Offer complimentary membership can be used for new user accounts (users who don't already have an account or membership), or whose account is Guest or Expired status. For users who have an Active or Canceled membership, use Switch membership instead.
For Guest and Expired accounts, click the three dots on their profile and select "Offer complimentary membership."
