What are complimentary memberships?
These are memberships that you have given out to people, usually for promotional purposes.
Can I get more compliments memberships if I use them all up?
We would be happy to top up your complimentary memberships should you run out and if you are using them for promotional purposes. Just send us a message via the live chat or to support@mymember.site to discuss. All sites start with 10 complimentary memberships but there is no limit.
How do I create and give away complimentary memberships?
On the Members page, open the I want to... menu and choose Offer complimentary membership (you will also find Invite as a Guest in the same menu):
This opens the Offer complimentary membership popup, where you enter the member details and choose the membership:
Fill in the popup — choose the Membership, set the Membership limits (which limits apply to this complimentary membership), and set a Duration, then click Offer:
Offering to an existing member (Expired or Guest)
For someone who already has an account, you can offer a complimentary membership directly from their row in the member list. Open the member 3-dot options and choose Offer complimentary membership. Their Username and Email address are pre-filled and cannot be edited — just choose the Membership, Membership limits, and Duration, then click Offer.
Which members can receive a complimentary membership?
Complimentary memberships can only be offered to members with a Guest or Expired status. For Active or Cancelled members, use Switch membership instead.
