Working with reusable Assets

Manage your site's reusable Assets library — colors, app icon and fonts, and social media links that can be used across your site.

The Site Designer keeps your reusable design pieces — color palettes, your app icon, header fonts, and social media links — in a shared Assets library. Define them once, and every part of your site that needs them references the same entry. Change an Asset, and it updates everywhere.

Color Assets

Color Assets is the library of named color palettes you can pick from when setting your site's primary color. It comes with 10 presets — mymember.site (purple), Dark violet, Digital lavender, Hot pink, Digital orange, Pastel green, Neon green, Lollypop, Forest green, and Coffee.

You can add your own:

  • Add custom color — give it a name and a hex code

  • Edit a custom color — rename or change the hex value at any time

  • Delete a custom color — Color Assets will warn you if you're trying to delete the color currently used as your primary color

If you pick a color that doesn't have enough contrast against your background, you'll see a Contrast check failed warning — so visitors with low vision can still read your text comfortably.

App icon and Header font Assets

Your App icon & favicon is a single PNG (1024×1024 pixels) used as both your browser favicon and your installed-app icon. Upload it once, and Site Designer applies it everywhere.

Site logo

You can upload your own logo image, or use a text-based site name and pick a font from the menu. Ensure you check the box "This logo is SFW" if it's safe for work so your logo can be seen by all site visitors, including those who live in regions or countries where age verification is required.

Social Media Link Assets

Your Social Media Links is the central list of links shown on any page that has a social row — your homepage, About-me section, Coming Soon page, and so on.

For each link you can:

  • Add a preset platform (Instagram, X, YouTube, etc.) by pasting a URL, or Add custom link for anything else

  • Edit — change the link, swap the icon, or rename

  • Hide a link to keep it in the library but exclude it from the site

  • Delete — note: deleting at publish time is permanent

Site Designer validates URLs as you type — if you paste an invalid link, you'll see a "Please enter a valid URL" error before saving.

Things to know

  • Assets are synced / connected — change one, and every page that references it updates automatically.

  • You can hide a link without deleting it. Hidden links are excluded from the rendered site but stay in your library for later.

  • Changes don't go live until you click Publish.
