Teammates

Teammates lets you invite other people to help run your site without sharing your password. Each teammate gets their own login, and you decide exactly what they can access — from content and memberships to design tools and marketing settings.

Before you start

Teammates is for new users who don't already have a mymember.site account. If you try to invite someone whose email is already attached to an MMS creator account, the invite won't go through — inviting existing creators as teammates isn't supported yet.

Inviting a teammate

1. Open Teammates in your settings
Go to Settings › Teammates and click Invite teammate.

2. Enter their email
Enter the teammate's email address.

3. Require 2FA (optional)
Check Require 2FA if you want the teammate to set up two-factor authentication before they can use the dashboard. When enabled, they cannot navigate to any dashboard section until 2FA is set up. Once they add 2FA, they cannot turn it off themselves — uncheck Require 2FA via Edit permissions if you want them to be able to disable it.

4. Set their permissions
Permissions are organised into eight sections. Each section can be set to Full access, Limited access, or Restricted — open a section to pick exactly which pages and actions are allowed. At least one page or action permission must be enabled before the invite can be sent.

5. Send the invite
Click Send invite. Your teammate gets an email with a link to join your site and set their password.

What the eight permission sections cover

You can mix levels across sections — for example, give a Content Editor full access to Content and Memberships but keep Settings and My account restricted.

  • My account — Security, Payouts, Tax statements, Personal and Legal info, Notifications, Language

  • Settings — outgoing notifications, blocking & security, content settings (DRM, watermarks, scheduled content), advanced settings (domain, tracking code, redirects), and integrations (X, Bluesky)

  • Transactions, Stats and Activity — earnings, statistics, and activity logs

  • Memberships — published and unpublished memberships

  • Content — livestreams, stories, videos, photosets, store items, bundles, shipping, orders, vault, and uploads

  • Members and chat — member list, member tags, chat, mass messages, chat settings, polls

  • Marketing tools — promotions, creator referrals, and your affiliate program

  • Design tools — the full site designer (pages, sections, header, logo, colors, fonts, buttons, SEO, social media links, and more)

Editing or removing a teammate

From the Teammates list, click the three-dot menu next to a teammate to Edit permissions or Remove teammate.

On the Edit permissions screen, you can edit which sites a teammate can access, update permissions, uncheck Require 2FA (so the teammate can turn off 2FA on their own), or remove the teammate. Removing a teammate revokes all their permissions immediately, and this action cannot be undone. Removing a teammate also deactivates Require 2FA, which lets the teammate turn off 2FA on their own account.
